Howdy I have purchased a 1969 Rupp Roadster. There is a serial number on the engine. Is there a manufacturers number, serial number, Vehicle Identification Number or other number somewhere else on the the bike? I'm trying to register it with the Ministry of Transportation in Ontario. Any help would be much appreciated. Bob S

Yes a frame # should be stamped into the bike. Most #s are stamped very light and are full of paint and difficult to see. They are located just in front of the gas tank on the flat plate gusset supporting the 2 upper frame tubes

I found a Rupp sticker under the seat. Does anyone know if the serial number relates to model year? My serial number starts with C, does it mean A=1970, B=1971, C=1972? Sorry, I forgot to mention it's a Roadster2. Another question, is the DellOrto carb the only difference between the Roadster and Black Widow? Thanks for any help.
