Just picked up a '71 roadster2 with a Dellotro on it. The previous owner somehow installed the choke gate in backwards and then wedged it in there, breaking it in the process. That looks like it is not a serviceable part? Can I live without it if that is the case.
Also anyone selling "rebuild" kits for the carbs? Got it soaking right now.
Thanks, Markus

You have to buy the whole choke assembly.....which is the piece held inplace by the ring nut....slide, cable, elbow and return spring are not part of the assembly. If you use the primer(tickler) you can get it started or you can use y our hand over the velocity stack for a choke. I have anything you may need for the carb in stock www.RuppParts.com
