With the cold winter weather in many areas, don't just roll that classic mini bike in the back of the garage and forget about it until spring. All the gas needs to be drained including the little bit that remains in the carburetor bowl (yes even with stabilizer it's best to drain it). Pour a couple teaspoons of motor oil down the spark plug hole and slowly spin the engine to distribute the oil in the top end before reinstalling the spark plug, then pull the starter slowly until the compression stroke to close both valves. Wipe all chrome with kerosene or WD-40 (keep it off the tires and rubber grips). You can also wipe the spokes to prevent corrosion.

Great tip Keith. It's nice to know that after a long winter the bike will be ready to go on the first warm day of the spring.
