Hello all, this is my first post on here so here goes !
My 10 yr old son and I are just starting to finally restore a Rupp Hustler I picked up on e-bay about 5 years ago. It had no engine so a few years ago I picked up a new Tecumseh from Rupp parts so at least that is new. Right now I am trying to figure out what parts I need and get the bike mechanically correct before I finish tearing it down to fully restore this winter.
I guess I will need a new muffler, belt, and TC cover front brkt to start. Does the TC get any lube anywhere and can I use a grade 8 bolt off the shelf (what length)? Also what do I do with the choke arm that hits the frame ? Thanks for your help !....ED.
